Booking FAQs

Everything you need to know about booking a marquee or tent with us — all in one place.

We know you might have questions — especially if this is your first time planning an outdoor event. Whether you’re considering marquee hire, glamping, or a full-scale stretch tent setup, we’ve pulled together the most common queries to help make things clearer.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak summer weekends and weddings. Six months ahead is ideal, but we can sometimes accommodate last-minute bookings depending on availability.

Do you deliver nationwide?

Yes — while we’re based in Sussex, we provide tent and marquee hire across the UK. Travel costs will be included in your quote based on distance and access.

Can you set up on hard surfaces like concrete or decking?

Yes, depending on the structure. Stretch tents are very flexible and can be installed on a range of surfaces using weighted ballast. Some marquees and yurts require soft ground for pegging — we’ll advise based on your site.

What size tent will I need?

That depends on your guest numbers, event type, and layout. Our tent sizing advice page has helpful guidance, or you can contact us for personalised recommendations.

What happens if the weather turns?

All of our tents and marquees are weatherproof and securely installed. We offer side walls, flooring, and heaters as add-ons, and we stay in close contact as your event approaches to help you prepare for any forecast. See our weather contingency advice for more info.

What’s included in my hire?

Tent hire includes full delivery, setup, takedown, and all structural components. You can also add furniture, lighting, and finishing touches to your booking. For more details, see what’s included / what to expect.

Do you offer styling and decor?

Yes! We offer a beautiful selection of finishing touches including Indian furniture, low seating, lanterns, rugs, and fire bowls. We’re happy to help style your event to suit your vision.

Can I visit the tents in person before booking?

In some cases, yes — especially if we’re setting up for a public event or open day. Let us know what you’d like to see, and we’ll let you know if a viewing is possible.

How long does setup take?

Most structures can be set up in half a day, depending on size and complexity. Larger setups or multiple tents may require a full day. We’ll always agree on setup and takedown times in advance.

Do you offer toilets, generators, or catering?

We don’t provide these directly, but we work regularly with trusted suppliers and can recommend reliable companies in your area if needed.

Is a deposit required?

Yes — we require a deposit to secure your booking, with the balance due before your event. Full payment terms will be included in your quote and agreement.

What if I need to cancel or change my date?

We understand plans can change. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can discuss your options. Our terms include a cancellation policy, which we’re happy to explain in full before you book.
